Petitioner claimed carpel tunnel condition as a result of her customer service position for her employer. The arbitrator ruled in favor of petitioner on a finding that her injury was work-related. Attorney Jennifer Barbieri represented the employer and appealed the arbitrator’s decision. On appeal, the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission agreed with Barbieri’s argument that the petitioner had failed to prove that her carpel tunnel condition was anything more than idiopathic.
